Minas Basin Pulp and Power Company
(1927-2012). An iconic mill in the Town of Hantsport Nova Scotia, created by an iconic entrepreneur Roy A. Jodrey. In recent times it  produced liner-board for the container industry. Historically it managed apple orchards, apple evaporators and transportation, extensive wood lands and produced lumber in addition to pulp wood. It generated its own power through a number of hydro installations on local rivers. At the peak of its activity it employed about 240
people. Sometimes 4 generations of one family were at work in the mill at the same time. Follow Blog to monitor progress of our book project.
